We did it! Youth bus passes and a skate plaza

Advocating at City CouncilThanks to all the Mid-City CAN resident leaders and supporters, people in City Heights will be safer and have more access to opportunities and places to exercise.

Students at Crawford, Hoover, Lincoln and San Diego high schools will be able to use a no-cost youth opportunity bus pass to get to jobs, internships and school.

San Diego City Council heard your testimony, read your letters and emails, saw your signs and shirts, and voted to approve the budget, which includes the passes.

And the city announced state funding for Central Avenue Mini-Park Skate Plaza. The skate plaza will give City Heights residents a safe place to exercise nearby.

Thanks to all your hard work City Heights will be a SAFER, HEALTHIER place to live.

Thank you
